Alpaca Felted Soap

You won't find this in a department store!

No we don't have blue, green or red alpacas. The white fleece is dyed with Koolaid to get vibrant colors to felt around a bar of soap along with some natural colors. No two are ever alike and we can make them with your favorite soap.  How's it work? Well it's like soap and a washcloth in one. As the soap is used up the alpaca felt shrinks with it so when the soap is gone you can give it to your favorite birds for nesting. Because the soap is felted it also lasts longer.

All items are made from our very own hand grown Alpacas.  Each uniquely different with a picture of the alpaca that contributed their fleece to the project. Decorative Rugs

These are a seasonal product made after our annual clip in limited quantities.  Where our yarns are made from the prime cut, the rugs are made from the seconds( neck & rump ).  The seconds are all combined into many different batches for processing.  Rovings are made and then woven into these decorative area rugs.  These artistic rugs are only available in random color tones creating their own random patterns.  Many of our customers can not bring themselves to put them on the floor and often hang them on the wall or over the backs of chairs and sofas.  However you choose to display them, they will be a unique conversation piece for your home.

Handspun Yarns

 Our yarns are spun from the wonderful fleece produced by the B.A.R. Herd.  Gail is a masterful spinner with meticulous attention to detail and consistancy.  You should order or purchase yours as soon as possible because her hand spun yarn is often spoken for before a batch is done.
